Kansas City Urban Strings offers violin and viola lessons for students from 3 to 93. We can help you learn to play whether you want to go on to play classical, fiddle, jazz or rock and roll. We offer weekly private or group lessons in a warm, supportive environment with opportunities for collaboration and performance. Come check us out!

PRACTICE IS CRUCIAL
Vladimir Horowitz said "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is practice." In lessons, the difference between a student who comes in prepared and one who does not, is that I can teach the first one and only practice with the other.

DO YOU NEED A NEW VIOLIN?
Kansas City Urban Strings has an agreement with a local violin vendor which makes purchasing your own violin an affordable option, or you can rent a violin from one of several reputable violin shops in town. Be sure to talk to your teacher if you need a new violin!
